Chinampas are Aztec farms located in swamp, these allowed the Aztec to farm extra land. Even land next to there island capital; Tenochititlan. This was like "Atlantis", it had canals within the city and connected to the rest of the Aztec world. It was covered in gold and gleaming monuments including giant pyramids where dozens of humans sacrifices took place daily. The island is now filled and has been covered over by modern day Mexico City of Mexico.

Water Flows Uphill!


This is possible because when water touches a hot surface it evaporates. This evaporation creates a gas which will lift the water droplet above the heated metal preventing it from evaporating immediately. This is called the "Leidenfrost effect". When put on a jagged surface like the example on the screen it will allow the gases to collect forming enough lift to lift the water droplet up and making it move forward. This may seem impossible but look at this video:
